Overview

 

This workshop will focus on how to deliver a presentation to a large audience.  In advance of this workshop, you will prepare a short presentation which you will then deliver in the workshop.  You will receive advice which will help you to deliver confident and well-structured presentations to large audiences.

 

Outcomes

 

By the end of this workshop you will:

 

  • Understand the importance of audience involvement when delivering presentations to large audiences.

 

  • Have explored several techniques which you can use in order to engage with all of your audience.

 

  • Have been given lots of tips on how to use PowerPoint effectively when presenting to a large audience.

 

 

This workshop is run by the Global Skills Project.  The Global Skills Project is a non-profit organisation that runs workshops aimed at helping people to develop the skills they will need in today's global economy.  The Global Skills Project is run entirely by volunteers, who come from a wide range of professional backgrounds.
