Project Implementation (2nd session of 2)

04 June 2015
18:30 - 20:30

Delivered by: Global Skills

Overview

This is the second in a series of 2 project management skills workshops.  The project plan you created in the previous workshop will be tested to see whether it can withstand a number of risks which often materialise during the implementation of a project.  This workshop focuses on how to plan for, and deal with, such risks.

Outcomes

By the end of this workshop you will:

  • Have learnt how to conduct a project review in light of several risks which often materialise during the implementation of a project.

  • Understand the vital importance of adding contingency into a project plan.

  • Be able to present your project plan to the project sponsor who is providing the funding for your project.

This workshop is run by the Global Skills Project.  The Global Skills Project is a non-profit organisation that runs workshops aimed at helping people to develop the skills they will need in today's global economy.  The Global Skills Project is run entirely by volunteers, who come from a wide range of professional backgrounds.
