UCL Alumni: Your Lifelong Community

Alexander Graham Bell. Christine Ohuruogu. Ricky Gervais. YOU.

Your relationship with UCL is lifelong and whether you have just started your studies or are about to graduate, all UCL students can benefit from being part of the alumni community during their time with us.

With over 200,000 former students worldwide, UCL’s global alumni form a powerful network and as a UCL student you have many opportunities to engage with them while studying and after graduation.

Build your career All UCL students are invited to register for FREE access to the UCL Alumni Online Community, putting you in touch with thousands of alumni mentors worldwide. It provides an exclusive networking area where you can search the directory for potential mentors from our pool of experienced alumni, and build your personal network.

When you become alumni you can also join one of our active alumni groups to connect with your international community and special interest groups in the UK.

Prominent alumni regularly come back to lead award-winning panel discussions and speed networking evenings to share their experiences and advice about their career journeys. All students are welcome to take part in our professional development series, UCL Connect.

Give something back You have the power to shape UCL’s future. Students and alumni support the university through mentoring, volunteering, peer support and philanthropy. You all inspire would-be students, encourage graduates to remain in touch and fund life-changing research.

The UCL Alumni Relations team work closely with staff in UCL Careers to source appropriate alumni speakers to talk about their profession at various student careers events.
