Josephine Lawton

I graduated from UCL with a LL.M. in Corporate and Commercial Law in 2008. I joined Accenture in April 2015 having trained and practised as a lawyer for several years. I acquired many skills during my time at UCL including analytic skills, attention to detail and pragmatism.

I am currently working in a business process design role on a SAP implementation for a large consumer goods company. Analytic skills are very useful throughout the duration of project but in particular at the beginning in the requirements gathering and analysis phase. Attention to detail ensures I produce high quality, value-add deliverables for our clients. It can be very easy to lose a sense of practicality when confronted with the challenges we all face on a daily basis on our projects. I find taking a step back and reviewing challenges with your “pragmatic” hat on ensures most issues are easily resolved.
